Room 3
We have started our week with enthusiasm and excitement. Our class photo was taken outside the Intermediate Inquiry Room. We have started our Inquiry about "The Treaty of Waitangi." Students came up with many questions and are working in their groups researching information. I hope parents and whanau are playing the place value maths homework activities.

  2. I really enjoyed Life Education Trust with Ann. I learn a lot of things. The one that stood out the most was that everything you send even if you delete it, it stays there. Even photos and texts and if you send it, it will go to the company your phone belongs like Vodafone, 2 degrees, spark and all the other ones. The police will track you down and see if you've done it more than once,

  6. The Life Education caravan was a really good experience and I learnt a lot from it. The main thing that I learnt and was most surprised with was that every time you post a photo on social media, even if you delete it, it will always be there. So you have to be sensible on the internet and be kind like a role model for younger children.

  7. I have learnt many new things but one thing that is new and that I was also interested in was what can be the effect of not putting privacy settings on social media sites and it turned out to be that people can share your personal stuff and it can end up being on-line for everyone to see.

  8. I enjoyed our two lessons with Ann. One of the things that I learnt is that everyone has different views on personalities in friends. Some people think that honesty is important in friends while others think that white lies are all right sometimes.

  9. I enjoyed learning about how to be safe around sites like Face Book.
We watched videos of what happens if you let strangers on your Face Book and how to block people that are not friends with you.

  12. I enjoyed learning about how to be safe when you are on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and why do we have to be safe while we have to be safe around social media because whatever you press the send button you can never get rid of it even though you delete it is still somewhere but you never know where it is.

  13. Our whole class and I went to life education to learn some things. One teacher name Ann she teach us some interesting things. We learn from Ann that if we are using Facebook. If anybody send us friend request and we don’t know who he is and from where he is. If we accept it and we tell him our secrets we can get in trouble. And if something happened with us we have to tell our parents and they can help us. This teach us we have to make friends who we know very well.

  20. I really enjoyed working with Anne. The best thing that Anne taught me was that if you text someone something that is mean. Suddenly you regret it and you delete it. Your company like Spark will still have it in the system. Thanks Anne :)
